My experience on the course
My time in the program was both challenging and rewarding. Certainly the knowledge and skills surrounding digital education I developed while working with my class and faculty have been invaluable. Perhaps most valuable, has been the rigorous intensity with which I now approach new projects, gaining knowledge and developing programs - a style that I began to develop during my time at Edinburgh.
What I'm doing now
I’m working at Canada’s National Ballet School as ‘Manager, Digital Media and Learning Technologies’. Although my work covers a great deal of ground, the core of my work revolves around a national program called ‘Sharing Dance’, which aims to get Canadians of all ages, mobilities, and social groups moving together. We deploy digital education initiatives to train and engage teachers, community leaders, and front line health care workers to safely deliver quality dance and creative movement programs. While the program is still in its infancy, we’ve partnered with organizations across Canada from the arts, education, and healthcare sectors to develop this program into a nation-wide movement.
I’ve been keeping involved with EDUCT, the Edinburgh alumni organization here in Toronto, Canada. I’m always willing to connect and stay in touch.
